The sites of Luang Prabang

After breakfast I set out by foot. Down the main street towards the monasteries. I almost immediately had to stop for a pain au chocolate. Luang Prabang is very French- many coffee shop type places with croissants etc. There are many many monasteries around- I first went in the Vat Sane, then Vat Siblun Heuang , and skipped a few others before Vat Xieng Thong (oldest monastery and most beautiful). There i did have to pay an entrance fee and also rent a skirt and scarf for propriety. Sorry to cut short but generator ending.
