The Golden Triangle
Chang Rai to the most northern point in Thailand, through the Golden Triangle (confluence of 3 rivers- a pointless stop unless you want to go to a casino or the Hall of Opium Museum)- then a very steep crazy switch back road along the border of Burma- lots of military checkpoints. Bi was higher than the clouds and the views and vegetation amazing. Coffee bushes a plenty. I forgot to mention that a few days ago while taking a photo, my iphone (which is my camera) said I had no more storage space and directed me to SETTINGS. I have been deleting Apps regularly each time I get this message and now the only app left is Blogger.... So I'm not sure what my next plan of action will be. Piers downloaded all my photos from the first 20 days into his computer when we returned to Hanoi so in theory I can delete those with hope that he sends them to me....
