Nous somme bien arrive heir soir vers 5 heures a L'hotel Paris Beach. We had some difficulty finding the hotel Beach Club (turned out to be closed for the low season) that we were looking for- roads are the worst in the entire 11 days. A 10 hour journey albeit 2.5 in the ferry. Paris Beach is owned by a flamboyant woman from Paris (although obviously ne a Vietnam) and her French husband a finance proff a Paris (j'espere que tous le monde souviens que mon mobile n'a pas des accents pour l'ecriture)..... Perhaps the highlight of the place is the 3 dogs- I don't know if they love Piers more than he loves them. Kiki and xx slept with Piers last night. We are literally on the beach. The last step from the terrace is covered in sand... Again $25 a night with either air conditioning or breakfast. It is really blowing here so we chose breakfast. The room also has 2 big fans. The best waves I have enjoyed for years. As much as I love Menauhant, I miss the lovely Atlantic rollers we played in for hours as a kid in Rehobeth and Ocean City. These waves make me think of the many, many hours in the water with my best friend Liz Barnes- we would name the waves- the jumper, the twister, the sitter, the back floater- each wave one of us would call out what to do...
Don't forget the "diver"! Wish I were there with you! XXOOLiz
